Students of Thai Nguyen University receive the first prize for their "Smart water" project.

The top 15 projects were selected from 570 entries. Nguyen Minh Triet, an official of the Vietnam Youth Union, praised students' start-up ideas: "The competition has shown encouraging results. The entries enable us to identify students' needs to provide appropriate support. We will further study student start-up support models around the world to apply in Vietnam and get students' associations at all levels involved in students' start-up efforts".
"Smart water", a water quality monitoring solution developed by students of Thai Nguyen University, won the first prize, which includes 2,200 USD in cash, 22,000 USD for project implementation, and a field trip to the US.
