(VOVWORLD) - US President Joe Biden will hold a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, US National Security Council Spokesperson Emily Horne has confirmed.
According to the White House, the two leaders will discuss a range of topics, including upcoming security talks in Geneva (January 10), the Russia-NATO (NRC) meeting, and the meeting at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed the phone call but didn’t mention any details.
Observers say the two leaders might also discuss the situation in Ukraine and nuclear talks with Iran to resume the 2015-signed Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
