Biden to call for international conference on COVID-19
(VOVWORLD) - US President Joe Biden will call for an international summit on COVID-19 response and global vaccination during a speech at the annual meeting of the 76th UN General Assembly in New York next week, the White House said.

Biden will call on heads of states, international organizations, and businesses to come together to commit to ending the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a copy of an invitation reviewed by The Post.
“Participants will identify concrete actions and set the ambitious targets needed to achieve that goal and prepare the world for future health security threats,” it said.
