(VOVWORLD) - The UK’s House of Lords on Friday approved a bill to delay Britain's withdrawal from the EU.

The bill will force British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to request a Brexit delay until January 31, 2020 in case no Brexit deal will be reached this October. The bill is scheduled to be signed by Queen Elizabeth II this Monday. Earlier, the bill passed House of Commons.
