Binh Duong among Top 21 Intelligent Communities worldwide
(VOVWORLD) -Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) honored the Top 21 Intelligent Communities of the world (Smart 21) in 2023 on Friday. Binh Duong of Vietnam is once again in the Top 21 and has been in the list for the fifth time in a row.

ICF selected the top 21 intelligent communities on the basis of six factors including: broadband connectivity, knowledge workforce, innovation, digital equality, sustainability and advocacy. This year ICF focused on strategic orientations on sustainable development and innovation with applications of digital technology, putting community at the center, and making smart connection as the development motto.

Binh Duong has a thriving digital and innovation ecosystem, such as: Smart Operations Center, Becamex Business Incubator, Fablab, Advanced Manufacturing Center, and World Trade Center.
Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC) and Binh Duong province have been implementing more sustainable development programs, such as: promoting the use of clean energy, renewable energy; promoting the application of technology in production; and creating green living. These programs aim to attract technology businesses and high-quality human resources.
This year marks the 5th consecutive year that Binh Duong has been honored by ICF as one of the top 21 Intelligent Communities of the world.
