Binh Duong seeks to lure more Australian investors
(VOVWORLD) - A series of conferences on attracting foreign investment to Binh Duong province was organized in three Australian cities earlier this week, attracting representatives from the two countries’ business communities.

Attending were Dang Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee and representatives of Becamex Corp.
David Osborn, General Director of the DETMOLD Group of Australia, which specializes in providing food containers, said 98 percent of the firm’s products were produced in Binh Duong and the company will continue to expand its long-term production there.
Nguyen Phu Hoa, Chief Representative of Vietnam Commercial Affairs in Australia, said that when Australian companies which are strong in technology, finance, combine with Vietnam’s advantage edge, they can make export products at a competitive price.
By the end of 2018, FDI of more than 2 billion USD was invested in Binh Duong province.
