(VOVWORLD) - A Tet book street and flower festival opened in Vung Tau City on Monday and will run until February 25th.

Nguyen Thi Bach Ngan, Vice Chairwoman of the Vung Tau People’s Committee, said: “The Spring flower festival is a tourist attraction, an entertainment spot, and a place for artisans from Vung Tau and other southern provinces to show off their work.”
Can Tho province on Tuesday opened the Mau Tuat flower street, themed “Can Tho welcomes Spring”, which will run until February 20th. 80,000 baskets of flowers are on display on a 300-metre stretch of Vo Van Tan Street in Ninh Kieu District.
“The flower street is organized for visitors. Flowers make the street more beautiful. I always visit the flower street before going back to my hometown to spend the Tet holiday,” said Nguyen Hoang Danh who was originally from Dong Thap province and has lived in Can Tho for over 10 years.
The Nguyen Hue Flower Street opened on Tuesday in Ho Chi Minh City. The 720-metre Flower Street is themed “Aspiration for a Bright Future”. The street has three sections: Spring in Ho Chi Minh City, Integration and Development, and Reaching a Bright Future.
