Brexit: UK won’t pay 39 billion pounds for divorce
(VOVWORLD) - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Sunday that Britain will not pay the entire 39 billion pounds owed to the European Union if the UK leaves without an agreement on October 31.

Johnson said the 39 billion pounds is money Britain would like to spend on its priorities and that’s not a threat, just the reality. A spokesman for the Prime Minister's office refused to say how much Britain will pay for the divorce if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.
The EU has so far rejected British proposals regarding the "divorce bill". It says Britain must pay 39 billion pounds with or without an agreement.
