Government official Mark Spencer told members of Parliament that the government will update them on the publication and introduction of the Withdrawal Agreement Bill upon return from the Whitsun recess on June 4.

Spencer is the government’s interim representative in parliament since Andrea Leadsom, the Conservative Party leader, resigned her post.

No referendum was included on the Parliamentary schedule starting June 3.

Spencer said the government had planned to hold the next vote on the Brexit bill on June 7, but has been unable to agree on this date.
