May says the Brexit deal is a legitimate agreement for the benefit of Britain, for the work of the people, and for the future of the younger generation and the next seven days will be extremely important for the future of the UK.
She said the challenge to her leadership is insufficient to trigger a vote of confidence and a change of leadership would not make negotiations easier, but would just bring more instability to Britain.
Conservative MPs are pushing for a vote of confidence after a week in which May lost 4 ministers and support for her Brexit deal has ebbed away.
