Visitors will have the chance to not only enjoy the beauty of buckwheat flowers, but also explore the lifestyle of local ethinic minorities and their unique culture.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman of the a Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son said that the festival is an important cultural and tourist event to honor the beauty of the typical flower of the Dong Van rocky plateau and spread the special values of Ha Giang's  people and culture.

Since 2015, the annual festival is held in the middle of November, when the immense fields of buckwheat flower come into full bloom.
