Bulgaria supports EVFTA signing
(VOVWORLD) - Bulgaria strongly supports and looks forward to the signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), said Bulgarian Minister of Economy Emil Karanikolov.

During a reception for Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Doan Tuan Linh, Mr. Karanikolov said that the EVFTA, due to be signed in June, will help boost economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Bulgaria and Vietnam. He said he will urge the Bulgarian Assembly to ratify the agreement.
Ambassador Linh said Vietnam is ready to help Bulgaria approach Asian-Pacific markets. Two-way trade between Vietnam and Bulgaria last year totalled 89 million USD, up 10 percent from 2017.
