These flights of South Korea’s Asiana Airlines have been licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam.
Le Thi Hong Minh, General Director of Cam Ranh International Airport Joint Stock Company, said, “Asiana's flight on September 18 was the first flight since the outset of the pandemic. International airlines that want to arrive in Vietnam must prove that they ensure safety during pandemic. 99% of staff must be vaccinated with 2 doses and well-equipped to serve passengers.”
Since April, Cam Ranh Airport has only received repatriation flights. The airport has recently been upgraded at a cost of 17.4 million USD and is ready for the re-opening of international routes to Cam Ranh city of Khanh Hoa province.
