(VOVworld)- On Thursday, Samdech Heng Samrin, the Speaker of the Cambodian National Assembly and President of the Solidarity Front for Development of Cambodia received a delegation of HCM City’s Fatherland Front headed by its Vice President Do Trung Tin.

In his address, Mr. Samdech Heng Samrin thanked the Vietnamese Party, government and people for supporting the Cambodian people over the years. He urged the two countries to strengthen solidarity and support each other for the independence, freedom and peace of their respective countries. The Vietnamese delegation later discussed with the President of the Solidarity Front for Development of Cambodia in Phnompenh, Paso Cheatvong, the draft of a cooperative program between the two countries’ Fronts.
