(VOVworld) - Cambodian Defense Minister General Tia Banh has begun an official visit to Vietnam. On Monday, Minister Tia Banh, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, held talks with a high-ranking delegation from Vietnam’s Ministry of National Defense headed by Minister Ngo Xuan Lich.

Vietnamese and Cambodian Defense Ministers signed a cooperative plan for 2017

Both sides discussed future cooperation focused on delegation exchanges, maintaining the deputy ministerial national defense strategic dialogue, and conducting joint sea patrols. They also agreed on closer coordination in searching for and repatriating the remains of Vietnamese military experts and volunteer soldiers killed in Cambodia during the war.
