Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister will attend the 55th anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties
(VOVWORLD) - Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and President of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association Men Sam An will pay an official visit to Vietnam from June 23 to June 25 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh, who is also Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2022.

Mr. Men Sam An will attend the 55th anniversary of the Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties at the Hanoi Opera House on Friday, said the spokesperson for the Vietnam Foreign Ministry Le Thi Thu Hang.
Ms Hang said: "The celebration is a spotlight of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Year 2022 and marks a milestone in the close friendship between the two neighbors. This is an opportunity for both sides to review their tradition of solidarity and mutual support during their past struggles for national liberation and the current national development. This activity will contribute to educating peoples of the two countries, particularly the young generation of the importance of the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship."
