This was part of the annual promotional program organized by Ottawa’s administration to honour its architectural heritages and it was the third year that the Vietnam House was open to tourists. The 100-year-old structure on 85 Glebe street was designed by Canadian architect Werner Ernst Noffke and has been designated as being heritage value by the City of Ottawa. The Vietnam House is now the residence of the Vietnamese Ambassador to Canada. Organized for the last 15 years, the program has welcomed 850,000 visitors, including 80,000 so far this year.
