Canada to restore relations with Iran
(VOVworld) - Canada and Iran have been restarted official discussions to restore bilateral relations after a 4-year pause, since Canada’s former Prime Minister Stephane Harper expelled Iranian diplomats in 2012.

According to Canada’s Foreign Minister Stéphane Dion, Canada and Iran have re-organized negotiations at executive levels. He did not reveal the exact venues of the discussions, but said negotiations will take place at a mediating site. It is speculated that Canada and Iran are organizing meetings in New York, in which both countries have political delegations.
