The number of wounded was about 15. The explosion struck the popular Aroma café near the Somali parliament building in Mogadishu. Al-Shabab fighters, who are connected to Al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the bombing. The group had vowed revenge for the death of its leader, Ahmed Abdi Godane, who was killed in a US drone strike last month.
