Carnival Ha Long 2019 opens in Quang Ninh
(VOVWORLD) - The Carnival Ha Long 2019 opened on Sunday afternoon with parades along the 4.3 km beach at Ha Long Park in Bai Chay tourist complex and at the FLC Ha Long Ecotourism Resort in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

This year, the massive stage performance took place at 3 pm - 4 pm, attracting the participation of some 400 professional and amateur artists, including 34 foreigners from eastern European countries and Columbia. Meanwhile, stellar art performances staged by renowned artists like My Tam, Tan Nhan, Tuan Anh, Khanh Linh, Minh Quan, My Dung, Grammy-Grammy kids art troupe, among others, were held at 8 pm. A low-range firework wrapped up the carnival programme. Carnival Ha Long is part of the activities in response to the Visit Vietnam Year 2019 themed “Sea Colour” and the Ha Long-Quang Ninh tourism week 2019. It is among a series of events to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Liberation of South Vietnam and National Unification (April 30).
