Central agencies make donations to support Doksuri Typhoon victims
(VOVWORLD) -Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong and staff members of the Party Central Committee Office donated 400 million VND in support of Doksuri Typhoon victims on Wednesday.

A similar donation campaign was launched by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. A delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by its President, Tran Thanh Man, visited and presented aid worth 1.6 billion VND to typhoon victims in Quang Binh province. Radio Voice of Vietnam has mobilized more than half a billion VND in its donation campaign. The typhoon, which killed 9 people and injured 215 others, was the most powerful in Vietnam over the past decade and left a damage bill worth 11 trillion VND.
