(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s National Traffic Safety Committee (NTSC) held a ceremony in Hanoi on November 15 to commemorate the victims of fatal road traffic accidents and call for people’s higher road sense. The event was organised in response to World Day of Remembrance for Victims of Road Traffic Accidents.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who is also Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee, called on people to abide by traffic rules to ensure safety for themselves and others. “We should express our compassion for the victims of traffic accidents through specific activities including obeying traffic rules. It’s a way to build a safe traffic environment in Vietnam for ourselves, our families, our friends, our society, and national sustainable growth.”
