(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has expressed his hope that the new Chinese ambassador to Vietnam Hong Xiaoyong will make practical contributions to the bilateral friendship of the two national assemblies.
At Wednesday’s reception for Ambassador Hong, Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said cooperation between the two Parties, governments, and legislative bodies should be strengthened based on the spirit of peace, friendship, development, and mutual respect. He noted that fraternal relations between Vietnam and China should be preserved and furthered. Hong, for his part, expected that he would get the support and assistance from the Vietnamese government and national assembly to fulfill his mission in Vietnam. The Chinese ambassador affirmed that the Chinese Party and government always attached importance to relations with Vietnam and exerted great efforts to boost comprehensive ties.
