China calls on US to forge ties via cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that to safeguard and enhance the well-being of the US and China, the two countries should complement each other's advantages instead of decoupling, integrate rather than isolate, and pursue win-win cooperation rather than conflicts and confrontations.
Mr. Wang made the statement during talks with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto in Guangxi on Monday. His statement responds to a query about US sanctions against Chinese enterprises and rhetoric threatening a "complete decoupling" from China.

China-US cooperation is mutually beneficial, not a one-way street, said Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian at another press conference on Monday.
