China, EU to conclude talks on bilateral investment deal
(VOVWORLD) - China and the European Union have targeted to conclude talks on a bilateral investment agreement, as both sides agreed to oppose protectionism and defend the global multilateral trading system.

Chinese Vice Premier Liu He made the statement at a joint press conference in Beijing on Monday, with European Commission Vice President Jyrki Katainen.
He said China hopes the EU will take concrete steps to ease restrictions on European exports to China. In his remarks, Katainen called on China to ease market access restrictions and tackle the issue of steel overcapacity.
