(VOVWORLD) - China and Hungary decided Thursday to upgrade their bilateral relations to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership for the new era.

The decision was announced during talks between visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
China-Hungary relations are currently the best they’ve ever beenand their comprehensive strategic partnership has maintained a highlevel of development, the leaders said. With deepening political trust and fruitful cooperation in many fields, the two countries have created a model for a new type of international relations, Xi said during hismeeting with Orban.
Hungary is the last stop on Xi's trip to three European countries–France, Serbia, and Hungary – from Sunday to Friday, to strengthen trade and investment relations. Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced that the two countries will sign at least 16 bilateral agreements on infrastructure, nuclear energy, and automobiles.
