(VOVworld) – Chinese Deputy Trade Minister Zhing Shan said that China is ready to import Vietnamese farm produce. At a press conference on the Vietnam visit by Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Zhang Gaoli and trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and China, Deputy Minister Zhing said the potential for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries is great and that China is ready to cooperate with Vietnam to expand areas and scale of cooperation as well as expand its market for Vietnamese farm produce and other competitive products. Vice Chairman of China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Hu Zucai said that Vietnam and China need to promote cooperation in infrastructure connectivity, trade, investment, finance and cultural and youth exchanges. He said that China’s National Development and Reform Commission and Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment have formulated a joint taskforce on ground infrastructure cooperation. He added that the potential for bilateral cooperation in energy and machinery manufacturing is great.
