Ross said on CNBC that it is too early to assess where US-China trade talks stand, and said a date has not been set for another round of face-to-face discussions.
US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said Tuesday that the administration will delay imposing a 10 percent tariff on consumer goods imported from China until December 15.
