China releases Global Security Initiative
(VOVWORLD) -China released the Global Security Initiative Concept Paper on Tuesday at the Lanting Forum in Beijing, advocating the principle of resolving disputes through dialogue and rejecting power politics.

At the Forum’s opening ceremony, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said that the Global Security Initiative (GSI) upholds a vision of shared, comprehensive, cooperative, and sustainable security; respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries; abiding by the UN Charter; taking the legitimate security concerns of all countries seriously; peacefully resolving differences and disputes between countries through dialogue and consultation; and maintaining security in both traditional and non-traditional domains.
