FBI Agent David Johnson said that 39-year-old Yan Feng gave himself up to local police last Friday, two days after the fire at the Consulate. According to a spokesperson for the U.S Department of Justice, Feng appeared in court on Monday and is still in custody. Feng faces two criminal charges- arson and damaging the property of a foreign government. The FBI said an investigation is being conducted but that no political motive or terrorism is thought to be involved.
