(VOVworld)- Vietnamese Party leader Nguyen Phu Troing has praised Guangdong province’s leading role in China’s open door policy. At a meeting with Politburo member and Secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee Hu Chun Hua in Hanoi on Monday, Trong praised the fruitful results of economic and trade cooperation between Guangdong and Vietnam. He expressed his hope that cooperation between Guangdong and localities in Vietnam would develop further. At a meeting with his Chinese guest the same day, President Truong Tan Sang said he hoped Guangdong province would further strengthen multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam in the near future.  Pham Quang Nghi, member of the politburo and the Secretary of Hanoi’s Party Committee discussed with the Chinese guests about the Parties relationship and cooperative plans for the future as well as cooperation between Guangdong province and Hanoi. Mr. Hu met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, attended an economic and trade cooperative conference in Hanoi, and visited the Ho Chi Minh memorial complex and other economic and cultural spots in Hanoi. During his stay in Vietnam, he will visit Da Nang, Quang Nam, Ho Chi Minh city, and Tien Giang province.
