(VOVworld) – A seminar on restructuring the banking system and settling bad debts took place in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Economists analyzed the causes and looked for solutions to handle bad debts while restricting new bad debts and devising measures to restore business production and trading. Participants also proposed ways to improve capacity of the Property Management Company for Vietnamese credit institutions and iron out obstacles in property management, paving the way for the government to promulgate special mechanisms to speed up the banking system restructuring.
