(VOVworld) - Politburo member and standing member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Secretariat Le Hong Anh is on an official visit to Cuba. During a reception held by Cuban President Raul Castro in Havana on Saturday, Anh reiterated the support of the Communist Party and people of Vietnam for the legitimate struggle of the Cuban people. He also expressed his hope for strengthened cooperation between the two parties and peoples in all areas in the years to come.

President Raul Castro praised the development of relations between the two countries over the years as well as Vietnam’s recent achievements. He said that Vietnam’s experiences are precious in the context that Cuba is trying to update its economic model.
