(VOVworld) – A performance involving the Munich Chamber Choir, the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theatre, and the Vietnam National Academy of Music opened the 2013 European Days in Hanoi on Thursday.

The performance was attended by Hoang Tuan Anh, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, and several ambassadors to Vietnam. Son called the event an occasion for Vietnam to introduce its culture, land, and people to Europeans and learn more about other European countries to strengthen friendship and cooperation among nations.
This is the 9th European Days program in Vietnam. Previous success has made it a highlight of the European Union’s cultural activities in Vietnam.
