(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Thursday sent a message of condolence to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi for the casualties caused by a stampede in Uttar Pradesh two days earlier.

The Consular Section of the Vietnamese Embassy in India reported on Thursday that there has been no indication that any Vietnamese citizens were among the casualties.
The stampede, which occurred during a religious gathering of Hindu devotees, resulted in the deaths of at least 121 people.
