Congress documents to be translated into seven languages
(VOVWORLD) -The Party Central Committee’s External Affairs Commission has briefed diplomatic corps and international organizations in Vietnam about major outcomes of the 13th National Party Congress.
The Commission Head, Hoang Binh Quan, told the event on Wednesday that the Congress upheld four key principles of persistently applying and creatively developing Marxism Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thoughts, national liberation and socialism, the Party’s renewal path, and Party building principles, while absolutely assuring the national interest based on international law, equality, cooperation and mutual interests.
He said the Congress documents will be translated into seven languages and sent to the diplomatic corps.
During the Congress, delegates elected a 200-member Party Central Committee, including 19 female members. Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong was re-elected as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam with high votes.
