(VOVworld) -  Delegates at a UN climate conference in Paris have approved a draft text they hope will form the basis of an agreement to curb with global carbon emissions.

There still remain differences over the recent reached 48-page document which need further discussion.  Some small island countries proposed the target to limit global temperature rise at 1.5 degree Celsius instead of previously set 2 degree Celsius. In coming days, discussions will focus on donation for countries in the Southern Hemisphere to deal with climate change, and divide responsibilities among developed and developing countries on minimizing climate change impacts.

Many celebrities took part in the Action Day held on the sideline of the COP21 to promote the effort to deal with climate change.
