During at a talk show in Hanoi on Monday, Nhien recalled Vietnam's strong commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 at last year’s COP26 conference in Glasgow, Scotland.

COP27 highlighted adaptation, loss recovery, and feasibility in implementing each country's goals. Special difficulties face developing countries like Vietnam, she added.

Financial institutions and the private sector are expected to announce the results of their efforts at the COP28 climate change conference, scheduled to convene from November 31 to December 12 next year in the United Arab Emirates.
