The Party leader, who leads the Central Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of Corruption and Negative Phenomena, chaired the meeting of the Committee on Wednesday in Hanoi.

“We need to capitalize on what have been achieved, be more active, stronger, more aggressive and effective, not to evade responsibility, and not to blame others. Do better the inspection and audit, proactively prevent, and do not leave loopholes. Strengthen communications and supervision to prevent bad guys from taking advantage of anti-corruption work to incite internal divisions,” Mr. Trong said. 

Concluding the meeting, Party leader Trong said anti-corruption work has been carried out very methodically, with caution, and without exceptions.

The conclusions of the Central Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of Corruption and Negative Phenomena have been implemented strictly. The establishment of a provincial Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of Corruption and Negative Phenomena is necessary and correct, he said.
