Held for the first time in late May, this course is the highest level offered in Vietnam. Eight trainees attended the course for five days of theoretical training and 13 days of practical training and assessment. Live demolitions were carried out during the course, designed to replicate difficult scenarios the technicians may encounter in their work, such as explosive ordnance in populated areas or near important infrastructure like power stations or fuel stations. The trainees will be observed, mentored, and assessed for another six months following completion of the course before receiving their certification.
