In the last 24 hours, Asia has confirmed 210,000 new cases and 4,200 deaths. Europe has confirmed 51,000 new cases and 1,300 deaths.
Japanese Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide said Wednesday that Japan will donate an additional 800 million USD to ensure that COVID-19 vaccines are distributed fairly all over the world. This will make Japan the 2nd largest COVAX contributor. Mr. Suga urged the international community to unite and donate more to COVAX.
