Latin America and the Caribbean now have the highest coronavirus death toll in the world with 216,000 deaths.
COVID-19 cases have risen sharply again in Europe and Africa.
India and the Philippines are hot spots in Asia. 61,000 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in India on Saturday, the 9th consecutive day that it has more than 50,000 new cases per day. The Phillipines now has more than 7,000 confirmed cases and 950 deaths.
