COVID-19: Vietnam records 16,100 new cases, 11,000 more patients recover
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam recorded 16,110 new cases of COVID-19, of which 17 were imported and 16,093 were recorded domestically in 60 provinces and cities from 6pm on Saturday to 6pm on Sunday.

10,799 patients were declared cured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cured cases nationwide to 1,107,962. 215 patients died. The death toll from COVID-19 in Vietnam so far is 29,566, accounting for 2% of the total number of infections.
Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam has recorded 1,540,478 infections, ranking 32 out of 223 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 148 out of 223 countries and territories.
