COVID-19: Vietnam reports no new community infections in 5 straight days
(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam on Monday morning entered the 5th consecutive day without new COVID-19 community infections and the national count remaining at 1,049, said the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Since patient 1,045 was detected in Hai Duong on Wednesday, no new cases of community transmission has been reported.
Total recoveries stand at 815 and death toll 35. Most of the fatalities were the elderly with serious underlying diseases.
