This year’s Craft Village Fair will open in Nam Dinh province next month. The week-long fair, made up of more than 300 stands, aims to boost trade and tourism activities, popularise images of craft villages and their products, as well as honouring local craftsmen. It will also contribute to preserving and developing national cultural identities. The fair will display and sell products from various crafts, demonstrate craft making skills, introduce traditional craft villages then and now, and exhibit from several localities. During the event, the final round of a Vietnam Handicraft Contest will take place. The prizewinning products will be displayed at a special area to draw visitors’ attention.
