(VOVWORLD) - The 5-star cruise ship Westerdam docked at Da Nang City on Tuesday with over 2,000 tourists, mostly from the Netherlands.

Other passengers were from the UK, the US, France, and some other countries.
This is the first international cruise to visit the central city in the new year.
During their stay the tourists visited local attractions, including Ngu Hanh Son Mountain, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the Cham Sculpture Museum.
“The visit demonstrates that Da Nang continues to be an appealing destination. We plan to implement more tourism promotion programs targeting cruise ship passengers,” said Huynh Thi Huong Lan, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center.
Da Nang is expected to welcome 45 ships with more than 40,000 travelers in 2024.
