(VOVworld) – The European Union and Cuba representatives both expressed pleasure at the recently concluded third round of talks to normalize relations.

Speaking to the press on Thursday, Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Abelardo Moreno said the two sides made progress in discussions on culture, education, public health, and agriculture. Mr. Moreno said the discussions were frank and constructive, but no specific agreements were announced.

At a press conference following the negotiation, Christian Leffler, the EU’s top diplomat for the Americas, said the two sides have made considerable progress, but the timing of specific agreements has not been reported. Leffler  said the EU only wants to share experience, not impose its point of view or any model on Cuba.
