(VOVworld) – US Secretary of State John Kerry and Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez discussed by phone Friday morning President Barack Obama’s trip to Cuba later this month and reiterated their commitment to pushing forward the normalization of bilateral ties.

Kerry said president Obama is looking forward to meeting Cuban leaders and members of Cuba’s civil society during his trip from March 21 to 23. He will become the first US president to visit Cuba since 1928.
