(VOVworld) – The head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan welcomed Thursday Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC) and Head of its International Relations Department, Jose Ramon Balaguer Cabrera, who is on a visit to Vietnam to attend ceremonies to mark the 40^th anniversary of the liberation of southern Vietnam and national reunification.

Mr. Quan said Vietnam will do its best to foster the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba. He voiced his hope that Vietnam and Cuba will continue to closely cooperate in implementing agreements reached by the two countries’ Party leaders.
