During the two-day festival, visitors are invited to participate in folk art performances including Xoe dance of the Muong people, the maturity ritual of the Tay and Nung people, and Khen dance and bamboo flute performances of the H'mong people.

There are many folk games and a reenactment of the gong cultural space in the Central Highlands at the festival. 

Students from the Ethnic Minority Boarding High School in Gia Lai province performed traditional musical instruments. A group of artists of the Hue Ancient Capital Puppet Theater performed water puppetry while artists of Quang Trung Museum of Binh Dinh province performed Tay Son battle drumming and martial art at the festival.

The Cultural Heritage Festival 2022 is aimed at preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of ethnic communities in Gia Lai province, and promoting the image of Gia Lai land and people thus promoting local tourism development.
